What is preventing my success?

No goals, apathy, indifference, resistance to change, discipline or lack of desire to change. There is also a lack of personal respect, responsibility and accountability.

If your Doctor said that: "your health is killing you slowly but surely. If you do not do something urgently, you may be dead by tomorrow" You would change immediately!

  1. "My health problem" must have a tangible identity. Give it a name like Dragon, Coat of many colours
  2. "Identify the environment that sustains its growth". Stop feeding the problem and change the behavior, by planning
  3. Create "freedom of expression". It's OK, I am not a bad person; I just have a behavior that can change
  4. Reduce the "pressure cooker effect". This always leads to burn out, fatigue, failure
  5. Heal the pain of your "obesity"
  6. Do not multi-task your thoughts or actions, because you will spin out of control. First to go out of control is sleep, then healthy food choices, due to lack of planning. Your world is moving far too fast, causing more confusion, which leads to exhaustion.
    Feelings of being emotional, hypersensitive, overwhelmed become the order of the day. Excessive positive energy makes you become pushy, irritating and impatience of others, as well as yourself.
  7. The end result is always the same………fatigue………then a visit to the Doctor who prescribes sedatives to keep you cool, calm and collected. Super woman has now become a "basket case and a drooling wreck"
  8. Take back control with one step at a time, one choice at a time

Warning signs:
Impatience, confusion, forgetfulness, temper, shouting and banging
Lack of rhythm and routine, Lack of sleep
Too much over stimulation, Nervous stomach
Talking too fast

Treatment: Yoga, meditation, "Me time", exercise, movement, rest, extra sleep, healthy eating plan

Support:
Ask for help from professionals who are not part of your immediate acquaintances or environment.
Keep in touch with them when you are feeling better
Be aware of family malaise and indifference

Whirlwind affect:
The world will keep on turning at its normal pace with or without you.
Your changed behavior will allow you to get back to the worlds rhythm.
You are allowed to jump to calmed waters to side step your triggers when need be.

Take Action:
"WHAT" is happening, is more helpful than "WHY" is it happening to me?
Cycle of action: Start: change: stop.
Opposite of fear is courage. What am I afraid of?
How do I change the fear into courage?
What will make me happy?

Wise words:
"If you aim to be successful but happy to settle for mediocre results, that maybe all you will get"
